Located west of San Antonio, Medina Valley ISD covers close to 300 square miles. The District has approximately 9,500 students with nine campuses: six elementary schools, two middle schools, and one high school. Over the past several years, Medina Valley has consistently seen growth in student enrollment with an increase of 10% – 15% new student enrollment every year. While being a fast-growth school district, MVISD maintains a strong sense of pride, tradition and community support. Loma Alta Middle School is a public school in the Medina Valley ISD near San Antonio, Texas, serving grades 6-8, known for strong support for military families and an A accountability rating, offering a focused environment with counselors and social workers for student well-being alongside academic programs. The school emphasizes community and support, with initiatives for military-connected students.
